History

2014

Viettel Cyberspace Center (VTCC) was established, formerly the Board of National Projects under Viettel Group.

2015

V-wallet product was launched in Cambodia.

VTCC officially operated in the fields of research, development, and business of technology products.

Antispam was officially put into operation.

2017

Sfive browser was released in Vietnam.

SafeNet was launched, a solution to provide a safe network environment for the whole family.

2018

Launched the Digital Vietnamese Knowledge System, a digital platform for storing and developing Vietnamese knowledge.

Launched Viettel AI Platform website, introducing the ecosystem of AI-based products and services.

2019

Launched Viettel Cyberbot - A chatbot-building platform for Vietnamese businesses.

Introduced the first text-to-speech application in Vietnam.

2020

Expanded the scope of application of Cyberbot and Antispam for voice channels.

2021

Launched AI Office Robot and AI Mobile Robot.

Started researching Digital Twin technology.

2023

Viettel Cyber Center (VTCC) officially changed its name to Viettel Artificial Intelligence and Data Service Center (Viettel AI).

Launched the Viettel Legal Virtual Assistant.

2024

The Viettel Data Services and Artificial Intelligence Center (Viettel AI) celebrated its 10th anniversary.

Collaborated with the Ministry of Science and Technology to pilot the Online Reporting System.

Piloted a virtual assistant to support public officials and civil servants in Yen Bai Province.

Viettel AI’s face search and recognition technology ranked among the world’s top 4, according to NIST evaluations.

2025

Partnered with the Government and key central and local agencies (such as the Office of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Science and Technology, etc.) to develop, standardize, and clean digital data platforms.

Launched a series of virtual assistant products, including the Viettel Virtual Assistant for public officials and civil servants, the Virtual Assistant for new administrative unit lookup, and the Virtual Assistant for public officials and civil servants in Hung Yen Province.
