BIC and Viettel AI cooperate to deploy the OCR character recognition project over 2 years. The OCR service deployment project (Viettel OCR) will support BIC in automatically digitizing and converting paper documents from images or files into text quickly. This application will classify, extract information from documents, records, forms for storage, digitize hundreds of thousands of insurance policies in the operational process. Alongside the goal of enhancing customer experience, the OCR application will also help reduce steps in using BIC's products and services, providing speed, convenience, and personal data security when experiencing on BIC's digital platforms.

The contract signing ceremony and project initiation have marked the strategic cooperation relationship between Viettel AI and BIC on the digital transformation journey, laying the foundation for both parties to collaborate in building breakthrough solutions for the insurance industry in the future.
