Citizens can now look up new administrative units via Viettel’s AI assistant

02/07/2025

Viettel has developed a web-based AI assistant, accessible at https://tracuuphuongxa.trolyao.org/, enabling the public to easily search for information about new administrative units using personal computers, tablets, or smartphones. Here, users can quickly and accurately look up information about the reorganized administrative units, including 34 provinces and cities and 3,321 wards and communes.

Citizens can ask questions about any administrative unit in a conversational format, and the AI assistant will provide relevant information along with references to official legal documents. The assistant also offers a comprehensive handbook on newly established provincial and communal administrative units, including all Resolutions issued by the National Assembly Standing Committee on the reorganization.

AI assistant - a product by Viettel is built on Vietnamese large language model

Although the administrative reorganization process has been carefully prepared, it still poses challenges in terms of information access. This newly launched AI assistant is built on Viettel’s Vietnamese large language model, trained on official documents, and specifically designed to deliver highly accurate information about newly established administrative units. Prior to this, Viettel had successfully developed other AI models such as the Legal Virtual Assistant and the Civil Servant Assistant, giving them a deep understanding of how Vietnamese users typically ask questions and enabling the AI to generate realistic, contextually relevant answers.

By launching this product immediately after the national administrative restructuring, Viettel reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the country’s transformation efforts, aiming for a more transparent and efficient public administration.
