Viettel Virtual Assistant affirms deployment capability in international markets

The Viettel Virtual Assistant platform, researched and developed by Viettel AI, has been named in the Top 10 Outstanding Digital Technology Products for Foreign Markets at the 2025 "Make in Vietnam" Awards.

This achievement recognizes the core technology mastery of the Viettel Data Service and Artificial Intelligence Center (Viettel AI), while simultaneously affirming the capability to effectively deploy "Make in Vietnam" artificial intelligence products in international markets.

"Make in Vietnam" is an annual digital technology award organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It aims to honor digital technology products researched, designed, and developed by Vietnamese enterprises, focusing on effectively solving practical problems and gradually conquering the global market. Specifically, the category “Outstanding Digital Technology Products for Foreign Markets” recognizes digital products and services that meet international standards, possess competitive advantages, and help promote national technological capabilities to the world.

The Viettel Virtual Assistant platform meets the criteria for this category through its flexible deployment capabilities across various countries with diverse languages, cultures, and service models. The product supports multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is effectively applied in consulting, customer care, and fixed and mobile service support. Furthermore, it integrates seamlessly with local enterprise management systems in each host market.

Leveraging leading-edge technologies, the Viettel Virtual Assistant is capable of deep semantic understanding and topic classification throughout the interaction process. As a result, the platform effectively addresses specific challenges, such as accommodating diverse user accents and accurately predicting communication intent, thereby enhancing the overall user experience. Concurrently, the product is continuously refined based on actual customer needs, featuring capabilities such as session partitioning by specific business tasks or customizable administrative interfaces, which facilitate easier management and operational optimization.

Currently, the Viettel Virtual Assistant is deployed in several international markets, including Peru, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Laos, handling an average of millions of calls per day. It successfully addresses the challenges of managing high volumes of customer requests and providing multilingual communication in environments with limited IT infrastructure, all while offering 24/7 service at a reasonable cost.

In Vietnam, the Viettel Virtual Assistant is also widely utilized by over 20 organizations, government agencies, and major enterprises, including the Virtual Assistant for the Supreme People's Court, the Virtual Assistant for the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Virtual Assistant for civil servants in Bac Ninh Province.
