Viettel AI partners with Linker Vision to expand the AI ecosystem and advance smart cities in Vietnam

Viettel AI and Linker Vision have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at the co-development of artificial intelligence solutions for smart cities, while expanding the AI ecosystem in Vietnam and across the region.

This collaboration is expected to mark a significant step forward in the application of AI to urban infrastructure management and operations, particularly as cities face growing demands for digital transformation.

Viettel AI and Linker Vision enter into MoU

Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly conduct research and explore for Digital City solutions aligned with real-world needs in Vietnam. The partnership is expected to enable urban solutions with advanced capabilities in visual perception, situational analysis, and real-time decision-making to address complex challenges such as traffic safety monitoring, public order management, operational optimization, and early risk warning. This collaboration lays an important foundation for cities to gradually shift from reactive management models to proactive, data-driven governance powered by artificial intelligence.

Viettel AI and Linker Vision have also agreed to expand cooperation across several key areas, including the co-development of core AI technologies such as computer vision, multimodal AI, and predictive analytics; assessing the feasibility of localizing Linker Vision’s solutions for Vietnam and optimizing algorithms in line with domestic technical standards; and strengthening expert exchange and technical training programs to enhance AI development capabilities for both parties.
